FUCHS was educated from a young age by his grandmother. In his childhood, he was surrounded by works of art, thanks to his grandmother, who introduced him to the Satiricum in the Summer Palace in Greiz, a world-famous collection of satirical drawings and paintings. But even at a young age, Daniel felt depressed by the poverty and monotony of everyday life in East Germany. When the Berlin Wall fell and the GDR regime collapsed, he felt relieved. Hopes for an improvement in his private life, however, have yet to materialize. He has various jobs, but is still unoccupied; then he discovered his passion for the craft and artistic processing of wood.
