In November last year, the Tanka Museum in Hainan, China, recently concluded a major exhibition entitled “Julius Voegtli: A Swiss Pioneer of Impressionism”. The star of this exhibition was the Swiss artist Julius Voegtli (1879-1944), whose work brought a unique perspective to the Impressionist movement, which was traditionally dominated by French artists.
